Klondike Classic Quaddie Tournament - 23 July 2023

This impressive trophy was donated to the Royal, by the Edmonton Klondike society, many years ago.
It was played as "Fours" originally, but in 2010 changed to the more popular "Quaddie" format.

My sincere thanks to those who signed up, showed up, and played. It was unfortunate that not everyone did.

I was quite disappointed that we started with 4 spares, and finished with 4 short. This meant that some teams had to take a bye, and were at a definite disadvantage. Peter did the best he could with the situation, and it all worked out eventually.

As there was no money involved, everyone accepted the situation for what it was, and had a good time.

We had some exciting games, and the trophy went to Randy - Laura - Pops - Johanne, Congratulations to you all.
